Do you make an adapter for Lemo (panel-power) headsets?
Short answer: Yes — the USB2Lemo connects headsets with a 6-pin Lemo (panel-power) plug to a computer, tablet, or phone over USB-C. It supplies the +12V phantom power (mic bias) the microphone needs, but it does not provide panel power, so a headset's ANR and Bluetooth features run on the headset's own batteries. The adapter itself needs no batteries.
What USB2Lemo provides
USB2Lemo is the same mountable adapter as the USB2GA, with a round 6-pin Lemo jack on the front instead of GA dual-plug jacks. It carries your headset’s audio and microphone over USB-C and supplies the +12V phantom power (mic bias) aviation headset microphones require. It’s powered entirely by the USB port — no batteries or wall adapter for the adapter itself.
What it does not provide: panel power
In an aircraft, the 6-pin Lemo plug also delivers panel power from the aircraft to the headset. Panel power is what runs a headset’s ANR (active noise reduction) and Bluetooth features when you’re in the plane.
USB2Lemo does not supply panel power. If your headset has ANR or Bluetooth, those features will still need the headset’s own batteries when you use it with USB2Lemo. Audio and the microphone work either way.
